Traffic Stop Leads to Arrest of Woman Wanted on Theft Warrant, Police Say

A traffic stop at Main and Chestnut streets led to the arrest of a Coopersburg woman who was wanted on a warrant for theft in Lehigh County, Hellertown Police said in a news release Wednesday.

According to police, Michelle C. Lahue, of the 400 block of S. Main Street, was stopped Monday at 6:20 p.m. and also discovered to be driving on a suspended license, driving with an expired license and driving without insurance.

Police said Lahue was turned over to the custody of the Lehigh County Sheriff’s Department’s warrant deputy.
