Braveheart Golf Tournament to Tee Off May 21 (SPONSORED)

Attention, golfers and friends! An annual Saucon Valley tradition for a good cause will get under way on Thursday, May 21, 2015.

The Braveheart Classic Golf Tournament, sponsored by Braveheart Highland Pub in Hellertown, will be held at Silver Creek Country Club. All proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, which was also last year’s beneficiary.

LLS is the world’s largest nonprofit health organization dedicated to funding blood cancer research and providing patient and education services.

The Braveheart Classic is a four-person best ball tournament, and will include a putting contest, Pots of Gold holes, Closest to the Pin holes, a long drive contest and many raffle prizes.

The cost to participate is $150 per golfer, which includes lunch at Silver Creek, greens fees, a golf cart, snacks, beer, soda, great prizes and a post-tournament dinner buffet at Braveheart.

Lunch will be served at 11 a.m., with the tournament set to begin at 1 p.m. following a shotgun start.

Donors and sponsors are needed to make this important event possible, and the following sponsorship opportunities are available:

  • Platinum ($1000) – Includes 4 golfers, an 18 by 24-inch sign on the course, announcement at tournament awards
  • Gold ($500) – Includes 2 golfers, announcement at tournament awards
  • Silver ($250) – Includes 1 golfer, announcement at tournament awards
  • Bronze ($100) – Includes announcement at tournament awards

Checks should be made payable to Braveheart and can be mailed to or dropped off at the restaurant, 430 Main St., Hellertown, PA 18055.
