Carl Fritchman

Carl Eugene Fritchman, 87, of Allentown, formerly of Hellertown, died Tuesday, April 21, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Gloria B. (Wagner) Fritchman. Carl was born in Hellertown on Feb. 25, 1928 to the late Stanley and Mabel (Mindler) Fritchman. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during peacetime. Carl worked for First Valley Bank and First National Bank, Allentown and Bethlehem, for many years as a bank manager, teller and assistant treasurer until retiring in 1980. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Allentown, where he had served on its church council. He was a former Cub Master for Pack 22.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his wife of 62 years; children: Guy J. (Patricia) Fritchman of Dayton, Ohio, Kim L. (Patricia) Fritchman and Nina A. Fritchman, all of Allentown; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson. He was predeceased by an infant son: Carl E. Fritchman Jr.; siblings: Theodore Fritchman, Henry Fritchman, Pearl Weiss and Ruth Wilhelm.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, April 25, 2015 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 1933 Hanover Ave., Allentown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 10 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
