According to a news release issued Monday, the damage was done to four wooden signs that describe foliage along the wooded trail.

It was discovered late Monday morning in the park, which is located behind the township police and municipal complex along Old Philadelphia Pike.

Anyone with information about who may have damaged the signs is asked to call police at 610-317-6110.

This is the third incident involving vandalism at a township park in recent weeks.

In addition to an incident at Steel City Park, township officials recently reported that the fence at the Polk Valley Dog Park was damaged by visitors to the facility.
