Lena Mae “Lin” Hoffert, 86, of Hellertown, died Thursday, April 30, 2015 at VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township. She was married for 60 years to the late Grant H. Hoffert, who died Dec. 4, 2007.  She was born in Lower Macungie Township on Jan. 1, 1929 and her parents were the late Clarence P. and Lillian R. (Weber) Klemmer. She worked alongside her husband in their construction business in Hellertown for many years until retiring. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Hellertown.

Loving children: David G. (Susan Rae) Hoffert of Clark, Wyo., Richard J. (Roberta J.) Hoffert of Macungie, Kathy J. (Kenneth D.) Kline of Coatesville, Debora A. (The Rev. Franklin S.) Stinner of Nazareth; grandchildren: Kristie, Nathan, Matthew and Andrew Hoffert, Kevin Kline, Karin Griffin, Jennifer Penglase and Scott Stinner; great-grandchildren: Kadence, Jakob, Kira, Norah, Charlotte, Lucas, Landon, Reilly, Grant, Wesley and Kallie Rae.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Monday, May 4, 2015 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Lower Saucon Cemetery. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
