STROCK.DENNIS

Dennis L. Strock, 67, of Springfield Township, died Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Inpatient Hospice at Lehigh Valley Health Network, Allentown. He was born in Quakertown on May 6, 1947 to Homer E. Strock of Richlandtown and the late Florence I. (Yeager) Strock. Dennis served our country faithfully in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was a self-employed master carpenter for many years, and also played piano and sang at various venues in the Lehigh Valley area. He was a member of Salem United Methodist Church, Springtown.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his loving father; children: Jessica R. (Matthew A.) Brown of Towson, Md., Jodi L. Janiszewski of Quakertown, Richard L. Strock of Hamburg, Nicholas W. Strock of Orwigsburg; brother: John D. (Judy C.) Strock of Bethlehem; four grandchildren: Aydin and Kenley Brown, Avery Janiszewski and Payten Strock; former wives: Sharon L. Strock of North Brunswick, N.J. and April L. Cooley in Groton, Mass.

SERVICE

The service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2015 at Salem United Methodist Church, 3365 Main St., Springtown. The interment will be at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Veterans Administration.
