L. Saucon Resident to Kick Off County Council Campaign

A Lower Saucon Township woman will kick off her campaign for a Northampton County Council seat with a fundraiser at the Hellertown Historical Society’s Heller-Wagner Grist Mill Tavern Room, 150 W. Walnut St., Hellertown, on Friday, May 8 from 7 to 9 p.m., according to a news release.

Lori Vargo Heffner will announce her candidacy for the District 3 seat at the reception, which is open to members of the public, friends and supporters. She is the only Democratic candidate on the May 19 primary election ballot, the news release said.
