Robert L. Reichard Jr., 73, died Friday, May 15, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Fountain Hill on July 27, 1941 to the late Robert L. Reichard Sr. and Theresa M. (Hegyi) Reichard. Bob worked as a Combustion Analyst at Bethlehem Steel, and previously part-time at Blue Mountain Ski Area during ski season as well as at Zimmerman Technology. Robert served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Catholic Church, Hellertown, and a previous member of St. John Capistrano RC Church in Bethlehem. Robert was a graduate of Moravian College, attended Northampton Area Community College, and was a member of the American Society of Metals, the American Society of Safety Engineers, the International Society of Electrical Inspectors and Edward H. Ackerman American Legion Post #397, Hellertown.

SERVICE
Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment with military honors will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
