Saucon Creek Arts Festival Announces Winners
The Saucon Creek has long been an inspiration for local artists.
On Thursday the Saucon Valley Conservancy announced the winners of its first annual Saucon Creek Arts Festival, which was held Saturday, May 30 at the Heller Homestead in Lower Saucon Township.
The following artists were named winners at the festival:
BEST OF SHOW – Carlos Zapeda, Jewelry
SECOND PLACE – Phoebe Darlington, Drawing
THIRD PLACE – Kevin Horning, Wood Craft
BEST DEPICTION, “ESSENCE OF SAUCON CREEK” – Joe Sofka, Watercolor
BEST DISPLAY – Jeff Heilman, Broom Craft
HONORABLE MENTION – Ruth Taylor, Photography
HONORABLE MENTION – Diane Baeuchner, Textile
