Since opening day May 3, the Saucon Valley Farmers’ Market has settled into its temporary (for the 2015 season) home next to the Hellertown Area Library, and vendors were all smiles Sunday as they welcomed visitors on a hot, sunny late May day.
The market–which is being held across from Dimmick Park while Water Street Park is under construction–is open each Sunday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and features dozens of vendors who sell everything from locally-grown produce to coffee to handmade soaps. A list that includes most of this year’s vendors can be found here.
Photos from each week’s market as well as announcements about upcoming special events are regularly posted on the market’s Facebook page.
On Sunday, June 7, the market will host Moe Jerant and the Lehigh Valley Drummers at 11 a.m., and it frequently features local artists performing live music.
