Elizabeth J. Dux, 91, of Lower Saucon (OBITUARY)

Elizabeth J. Dux, 91, of Lower Saucon Township died Monday, June 15, 2015 at her residence. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Dux. She was born in Philadelphia on Jan. 28, 1924 to the late Henry and Mary (Preston) Varley. She worked in the accounting department at Jenkintown-Abington Federal Savings & Loan Association for many years until retiring. Betty was a member of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Hellertown.

SURVIVORS

Children: Joanne E. (David K. Sr.) Lee of Center Valley, Joseph J. (Kimberly A.) Dux of Dauphin; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter. She was predeceased by siblings.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 8:30 to 10 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2015 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Theresa’s Roman Catholic Church, 1408 Easton Road, Hellertown. The interment will conclude services at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Cheltenham Township. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
