Panther Football Moms Get Up-Close Look at Game

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Last night the whistles were blowing and the coaches were growling at the Saucon Valley High School football field. But the high school football season doesn’t begin for another two weeks!

All the action was at the first “Lady Panther Camp,” which was specially organized by Saucon Valley High School head football coach Matt Evancho for “football moms,” grandmoms, stepmoms, aunts and other women connected to Panther football.

Coach Evancho’s staff and players provided an up-close and very personalized look at the game of football and what the players endure in order to become Panthers.

I am happy to report through Panther Mom Kim Kemmerer that even though high school trainers were on hand as a precaution for the 30 Lady Panther Camp participants, they weren’t needed. It was truly an evening filled with fun and learning.
