Mortgage Co. Let Weeds Grow Tall on Property, Police Say

Lower Saucon Township Police said Wednesday that a Florida-based mortgage company has been cited under a township ordinance for allegedly allowing grass and other vegetation to grow in length to a height greater than 12 inches, less than 25 feet from a roadway or property line.

In a news release, police said Mortgage Contracting Services, of the 4800 block of W. Kennedy Boulevard, Tampa, “failed to maintain the vegetation” at a property it owns in the 1900 block of Leithsville Road in July.

As a result, police said they “declared a nuisance by the township ordinance.”
