Carl J. Frank, 76, of Coopersburg, died Friday, Sept. 11, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Salisbury Township. He was the husband of Mary Jane (Zellers) Frank. Carl was born in Philadelphia on May 20, 1939 to the late Carl O. Frank and Clara M. (Oechsner) Frank. He served his country faithfully in the U.S. Air Force during peacetime. He was an auto mechanics and special education teacher at Lehigh County Vocational Technical School, Schnecksville for 23 years, retiring in 2001. He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, (Limeport) Coopersburg. He was a mentor and coach for little league baseball and junior bowling. Carl enjoyed golfing, fishing, woodworking and playing his ukulele.

SURVIVORS

In addition to his loving wife of 44 years; children: John J. (Stacey) of New Hope, Kenneth M. (Christine) of Southaven, MS, Cheryl A. of Coopersburg, Robert (Lorrie) of Easton, Lori (Hank) Gerow of Port Charlotte, FL; sisters: Teresa Prettyman of Glen Burnie, MD, Rose (John) Kelly of Salisbury, MD, Martha Murphy of Havertown; 7 grandchildren.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 13, 2015 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown and from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m. Monday. The calling hour on Monday will be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Joseph Church, 5050 Saint Josephs Road, Coopersburg. The interment will conclude services at Calvary Cemetery, Conshohocken. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com.
