Woman Accused of Stealing Payroll Check, Cash from Banquet Facility

An Allentown woman has been charged with theft and receiving stolen property, after police say she stole a payroll check for $849.82 and $488 in cash from The Meadows, 1770 Meadows Road, Lower Saucon Township, while working at an event there Sept. 13.
According to a news release from township police, Nicole Marie Panquerne, of the 800 block of N. Lacrosse Street, took the check belonging to a Riegelsville woman.
The alleged theft was reported Sept. 15 by the victim and Meadows managers, police added.
