Est. Read Time: < 1 min

Lower Saucon Township Police said Monday that charges have been filed against three boys who allegedly took “multiple” cases of beer, liquor and a backpack containing marijuana and drug paraphernalia into a wooded area off E. Raders Lane on the afternoon of Sept. 20.

In a news release, police said the boys left their bikes on the roadside and partially buried the hard liquor they took with them, before running away and leaving their belongings behind.

Officers–who were called to the scene to investigate a report of suspicious activity– were able to identify the individuals through an investigation of the items left behind and subsequently questioned the boys, the news release indicated.

They have been charged with possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police.
