Copper Mailbox Target for Would-be Thief, Police Say

A copper mailbox on Arden Lane was apparently a target for a would-be thief recently, Lower Saucon Township Police said in a news release Monday.

According to police, the homeowner discovered that his mailbox was loose from its post with bolts missing from its screws on Thursday afternoon.

He “also noticed the post itself to be loose,” police said.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call township police at 610-317-6110.
