Joie Gates of Hellertown will be honored as the GFWC PA Saucon Valley Woman’s Club’s 2015 “Woman of the Year” on Tuesday, Oct. 20.

GFWC PA Saucon Valley Woman’s Club has announced that it will honor Joie Gates of Hellertown as its “Woman of the Year” at a ceremony on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 7:30 p.m. at New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3233 Apples Church Road, Bethlehem, Pa.

“Joie was selected as GFWC PA Saucon Valley Woman’s Club 2015 Woman of the Year as a woman who stands out in her community and for her outreach efforts in our country and the world,” club president Shelley Goldberg said in a news release.

Refreshments will be served at the ceremony.
