Lower Saucon Township Police say a Hellertown man will be cited for careless driving and driving an unregistered vehicle after he allegedly rear-ended a BMW while exiting the Creekside Marketplace shopping center at the traffic light on Leithsville Road.

In a news release issued Wednesday, police said Jonathan Remmey, of the 300 block of Cedar Road, was driving a black GMC when “he saw the light turn green (and) hit the gas,” allegedly colliding with the back of an SUV operated by a Springtown woman as they were in line to pull out of the center.

Police said the accident happened Saturday at 5:05 p.m.
