A community tradition in Saucon Valley will continue when volunteers from the Lehigh Valley Area AMBUCS (formerly the Saucon Valley Jaycees) host a free Thanksgiving dinner for Hellertown and Lower Saucon seniors later this month.

The turkey dinner will be held Saturday, Nov. 28, 2015 in the banquet hall at Dewey Fire Co., 502 Durham St., Hellertown. Doors will open at noon and the dinner will be served at 12:30 p.m.

To reserve a seat, Hellertown and Lower Saucon seniors should call AMBUCS treasurer Beth Gaston at 610-730-2089.

Anyone who wishes to donate a turkey or a Giant Food Store gift card to help defray the costs of the dinner–which is paid for by the AMBUCS–can also contact Gaston at that number.
