Donate Toys for Salvation Army at SV Schools

Est. Read Time: < 1 min

Although Toys for Tots is often the focus of toy collection efforts during the holidays, other charities also distribute new toys to local children in need.

One of them is the Salvation Army, which will be the recipient of a toy drive taking place at Saucon Valley High School.

The drive is spearheaded by student Katie Hoff, a high school student and Lower Saucon Township resident who has been involved with collecting toys for the Salvation Army for a number of years.

“Last year she was able to collect over 300 toys for donation as well as get a few more kids to volunteer their time to sort and distribute toys over at the Salvation Army in Bethlehem,” Hoff’s mother, Jane, said.

For those who would like to donate toys to this drive, a donation box is located inside the main high school entrance (by the flagpole circle).
