12 Big SV Stories of 2015: Spring Water Recall, Car Explosion, Football Team’s Success

The year 2015 was Saucon Source’s first full year in business, and one in which more than 1,000 local news stories were published on the website.

Here is a list of some of the most-read stories from the past year, including an article that generated so much traffic it temporarily crashed the site.

The June 21, 2015 story, “Giant Recalls Acadia Bottled Water,” was shared thousands of times on Facebook and produced a tidal wave of traffic.

Other big stories involved an escapee from Hellertown Police, a car explosion on First Avenue in Hellertown borough and the Saucon Valley football team’s most successful season ever.
