Iva Moyer, 92, of Quakertown, formerly of Hellertown, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2016 at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Fountain Hill.

Iva Moyer, 92, of Quakertown, formerly of Hellertown, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2016 at St. Luke’s University Hospital, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Edward S. Moyer (died Oct. 28, 2006). She was born in Richland Township on April 4, 1923 to the late Titus H. and Mamie (Trumbower) Crouthamel. She worked in various textile companies as a presser. Iva was a member of New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lower Saucon Township, where she taught Sunday school for 14 years. She was an assistant president of the Leithsville Fire Co. Auxiliary and a Girl Scout troop leader for 14 years.

SURVIVORS

Children: Loretta G. (Michael J.) Duch of Hellertown, Walter S. (Maria) of Ocean City, Md., Judy M. (Michael S.) Keller of Bethlehem; six grandchildren: Lisa Kichline, Tina Young, Cory Moyer, Cain Moyer, Adam Keller, Andrew Keller; nine great-grandchildren: Derek Kichline, Shawn Kichline, Alex Young, Eric Young, Haley Moyer, Stella Keller, Alexia Lopez, Joshua Herrera, Madeline Moyer. She was predeceased by nine siblings: Franklin, Raymond, Clifford, Kathryn Crouthamel, Grace Cressman, Titus H. Crouthamel Jr., Mildred Hottle, Helen Schaffer, Dorothy Mensch.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19, 2016 at New Jerusalem Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3233 Apples Church Road, Bethlehem. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.
