Isabel Yeager Bauder passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2016 in her family home, where she was born on April 30, 1927.

Isabel Yeager Bauder passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 10, 2016 in her family home, where she was born on April 30, 1927.Bauder She followed her parents, the late Laura and Stanley Yeager, in their love of community service and enjoyed all the folks she met along the way. She held a 60-year membership to the Hellertown Woman’s Club, a life membership to the Auxiliary of the Hellertown American Legion Post #397 and was a life member of First United Church of Christ, having been baptized, confirmed and married there. She was a 1945 graduate of Hellertown High School. Love of beauty and art led her to the Art Career School in New York City and the Baum School, Allentown. As a young woman, she worked for several years in the Art Department of L.F. Grammes of Allentown. She supported her husband of 51 years, the late Lindy Bauder, at Yeager’s Pharmacy. This was the backbone of their life, which brought them so many lifelong wonderful friendships.

SURVIVORS

She will be missed by her loving children: Nadene (Jerry) Purcell, Gale (Andante) Bauder, Jill Bauder and Lin (Christina) Bauder; grandchildren: Amanda (Matt) Crocco, Jeff (Emily) Hinds, Christopher, Jonathan, Daniel (Nicole) Bauder; great-grandchildren: Ben, Isabelle Crocco, Hudson, Madelyn Hinds. To her very best friends (you know who you are), she could not have survived without you and the help of her family angels. She was predeceased by a sister: Arra Betty Stoudt.

SERVICES

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 14, 2016 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. There will be no calling hours. Online memorial tributes can be paid at www.heintzelmancares.com. Private interment will be at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.

CONTRIBUTIONS

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Church of Christ, 501 Northampton St., Hellertown, PA 18055.
