Hi there! My name is Apollo. I am a young male Weimaraner/chocolate lab mix who is currently residing at the Center for Animal Health and Welfare in Easton.
People are often drawn to me because of my good looks, but there is so much more to me than that!
I am very high energy (which means that if you don’t have an active lifestyle and plan on including me in it, I’m not the dog for you).
I am also extremely strong on the leash, which means you’ve got to be able to handle me, or better yet, work on my training, so I acquire better leash manners.
I’m pretty awesome with people of all ages, but I might be a little too much for the little ones (I would never want to hurt them intentionally, but knocking them over is probably gonna happen) so to be safe, let’s say older kids only, please. I am dog selective, but would probably do best as a one and only. There is no doubt in my mind that I have what it takes to make a wonderful pet…but I need to have a wonderful family to make that happen. So, let’s make it happen together!
