A Bethlehem Township man will be cited for an alleged dog law violation, after Lower Saucon Township Police say his two dogs got away from the person watching them and emerged into the 2100 block of Johnston Avenue, Steel City, Thursday morning, where they scared two girls who were walking to their school bus stop.

In a news release issued Saturday, police said the dogs are owned by Nicholas Honeywell, 36, of the 3900 block of Freemansburg Avenue.

When they entered the street unleashed, “the girls screamed and the person babysitting the dogs came out of the house and grabbed the dogs,” police said.

“A review of reports showed that Nicholas was warned about keeping the dogs confined back in 2014,” police added.
