Woman Stole Red Bull, BBQ Chicken Wings, Maxi Pads, Police Say

A Lower Saucon Township woman was cited for retail theft Thursday, after police say she was allegedly caught stealing various items from Giant Food Store, 1880 Leithsville Road.

A Lower Saucon Township woman was cited for retail theft Thursday, after police say she was allegedly caught stealing various items from Giant Food Store, 1880 Leithsville Road.

In a news release, police said that shortly before 3 p.m. an officer observed Tamara Bily, 46, of the 3600 block of Lower Saucon Road, taking items off the shelf, placing them in reusable grocery bags and exiting the store without paying for them.

The items included Red Bull energy drink, BBQ chicken wings, maxi pads, soda, pretzels, Powerade and soup, and totaled $38.57, police said.

After being cited Bily was escorted off the property, police added.
