In a news release issued Wednesday, police said Dillon Desch, of the 800 block of Constitution Drive, “entered the wash causing damage to the car wash arm, then exited and drove over the dryer time display pole at the exit of the automatic wash bay, causing an estimated $3,000 (in) damage.”

Police said video surveillance footage from the car wash helped them to identify Desch’s vehicle, which was allegedly found to be uninsured, unregistered and displaying a wrong registration plate.

Desch has been charged with Accidents Involving Unattended Property, Duty to Give Information, driving an unregistered vehicle, driving without insurance and Unauthorized Use or Transfer of Registration, police said in the news release.
