Pets in Need of Homes: Gauge (Brought to You by A Furry Tail Come True)

My name is Gauge and my gorgeous face may look familiar to you, because I’ve been here before.13524091_10210136646682346_194415111_o I had a home for a short time, but the chemistry that we all hoped to be there just wasn’t. I sometimes am slow to trust people, but soon as I do…we will be great friends! I have nice leash manners, am very considerate and proper with dogs who are well-socialized, and am just an all-around joy to be around. I normally am calm and laidback, but I can hang and play with the best of them, too. I guess you could say that I’m an equal balance of chill and spitfire. I love my toys, especially the soft and cuddly kind (I have my favorite teddy bear that I sleep with every night) and I am pretty food-motivated. I prefer that you don’t touch my food bowl though, so it may be best that I don’t go home with children that aren’t yet old enough to understand that.Gauge Some men intimidate me at first and I am known to be a real ladies man, but when all is said and done, if you are just a little bit patient with me I will love everyone just the same, because that’s just the kind of awesome guy I am. Some people think I am sad because I have this adorable sad clown lip, but it’s just an endearing feature and is no reflection of my happy go lucky personality that my friends will be more than happy to tell you about. Sometimes I don’t appear to be friendly through my kennel, but once you take me out and we start making friends, there is no doubt in my mind you will see me for the wonderful, fun-loving dog I really am.
