Doris A. ‘Bonnie’ Zerbe, 95, formerly of Hellertown, died Monday, July 4, 2016 at Country Meadows, Bethlehem Township.

Doris A. “Bonnie” Zerbe, 95, formerly of Hellertown, died Monday, July 4, 2016 at Country Meadows, Bethlehem Township. She was the wife of the late Thomas E. Zerbe (died Jan. 1, 1993). Doris was born in Easton on Jan. 3, 1921 to the late Douglas R. and Helen F. (Stier) Abel. She was an administrative assistant for the principal at Roxbury Township in Succasunna, N.J., for five years. Doris was a member of St. Stephen’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Bethlehem, and a volunteer at League of Woman’s Voters and Juvenile & Domestic Courts, both in New Jersey.

SURVIVORS

Children: Patricia E. wife of Sam Gramiccioni of Ellsworth, Maine, Kathleen H. Bielinski of Bethehem, Sally A. wife of Dr. Lloyd Davis of Warren, N.J.; stepson: Dr. Darell R. Zerbe and his wife Jean of Chicago, Ill.; grandchildren: Rebecca E. Kravitz and Jennifer A. Dionne; great-grandchildren: Hannah R. Csontos, Madison G. Csontos and Max T. Kravitz.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to a service at 11 a.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church, 67 W. Washington Ave., Bethlehem. The interment will be at the Cremation Gardens at Union Cemetery of Hellertown. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Arrangements are by the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., Hellertown.

CONTRIBUTIONS
