Charlie (FeLV+)
Charlie was born on March 3, 2014 and arrived at the shelter in early September 2015 as a result of his family moving. However, he needed some serious TLC upon his arrival. He had ear mites, an upper respiratory infection and had some dental issues. With quick and fantastic care, he bounced back and is ready for a home! He is a little firecracker and loves every toy you throw at him. He also likes to be held and snuggled like a baby. He would love the company of another FeLV+ (feline leukemia virus positive) cat but would be OK as a single cat, too.
Daisy
Daisy is an adult female lab/hound mix who ended up at the shelter (with her best friend Pollie) because her family could no longer care for them. They have lived with children, cats and of course each other, so they should also do well with well-mannered dogs. Daisy and Pollie don’t have to be adopted together, but it sure would be wonderful if they could be, because they really do love each other. Daisy has excellent leash manners, knows some basic commands and rides nicely in the car. She is calm and a real joy to be around. She doesn’t plan on hanging around the center for too long, so if you’re interested in meeting her come visit the center soon.
