Hello. My name is Red.13835570_10210382937759469_1380427006_o I am an adult male coon hound who ended up at the shelter due to the death of my owner. My sister Kierston came with me as well. I thought it would be wonderful if the two of us got adopted together (and we did) but I kind of liked to instigate things with her so here I am again. Please don’t judge. It just wasn’t meant to be. I am like most other coon hounds: nose to the ground, bark and bay, and I have excellent hearing and smell. I am somewhat headshy though and slightly skittish when I meet new people, so I ask that you go slow when you meet me. If you do we should be just fine together. I can be strong but have decent leash manners. I have a beautiful strut and I am very handsome to look at. If you would like to meet me, and hopefully you do, come on down to The Center for Animal Health and Welfare and let them know you are here to see Red the Hound. Everyone knows who I am.
