Vivian L. Ferris, 95, of Lower Saucon Township died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 at St. Luke’s University Hospital & Health Network, Fountain Hill.

Vivian L. Ferris, 95, of Lower Saucon Township died Wednesday, Sept. 21, 2016 at St. Luke’s University Hospital & Health Network, Fountain Hill. She was the wife of the late Kenneth A. Ferris (died Dec. 14, 1999). She was born in Shamokin on Dec. 5, 1920 to the late Frank and Lulu (Englehart) Stahl. She was a registered nurse in the healthcare industry. She graduated in 1942 from Temple Nursing School.

SURVIVORS

Loving sons: Frank K. Ferris of Nucla, Colo., Wendell D. Ferris of Lower Saucon Township; brother: Wendell Stahl of Lewisburg; grandson: Kyle. She was predeceased by siblings: Frank Stahl, Katherine Smith.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from noon to 1 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 25, 2016 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown.
