The Saucon Valley community is celebrating Homecoming Week Oct. 11-15. Here is the schedule of events for the week, provided by the Saucon Valley School District:
High School Student Dress-Up Days
- Tuesday, Oct. 11: Twin Day
- Wednesday, Oct. 12: PJ Day
- Thursday, Oct. 13: USA Day
- Friday, Oct. 14: Red and Black Day
Wednesday, Oct. 12
- Juniors and seniors will be voting for Homecoming King and Queen.
Thursday, Oct. 13
- Community Pep Rally at 7 p.m. in the high school gym, immediately followed by the annual bonfire: Join students and staff in acknowledging Saucon’s senior fall athletes in their final year at Saucon Valley. During the Pep Rally last year’s Homecoming King, Evan Culver, will crown this year’s Homecoming King. After the Pep Rally, come out to the biggest and best bonfire in the area as the Panthers prepare to beat the Wilson Warriors Friday.
Friday, Oct. 14
- The Homecoming Court will greet elementary students from 8:45 to 9:45 a.m.
- The Homecoming Football Game and Crowning of the Homecoming Queen begin at 7 p.m. Come out and support the Panther football team as they take on the Wilson Warriors. At halftime, last year’s Homecoming Queen Carli Ziegler will crown the 2016 Homecoming Queen.
Saturday, Oct. 15
- Homecoming Dance: Students will dance the night away from 7 to 10 p.m. in the high school gym as they celebrate Saucon’s win against the Wilson Warriors and an awesome week of school spirit.
