Make Your Own Scarecrow, Go on a Hay Ride and More at Neighbors’ Fall Festival! (Sponsored)

In Hellertown there’s no better place to experience fall fun than Neighbors Home & Garden Center, which will host its annual Fall Festival this Saturday, Oct. 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

As nights become cooler and trees in the Saucon Valley begin to turn shades of gold, orange and flame red, thoughts are quickly turning to traditional, fun fall activities–such as making a scarecrow out of hay and old clothes, or an old-fashioned hay ride. And in the Hellertown area there’s no better place to experience the joys of autumn this weekend than Neighbors Home & Garden Center, which hosts its annual Fall Festival–a local tradition–this Saturday, Oct. 15 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

On tap for Saturday at Neighbors are:

  • Bubbles the Clown (face-painting, magic show, balloon animals), 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.nhg-fall-fest
  • Scarecrow Making (just bring a white pillowcase and clothes–Neighbors will supply the straw!), 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Petting Zoo, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Hay Rides, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
  • Pony Rides
  • Inflatable Obstacle Course
  • Moon Bounce
  • Pet Adoptions
  • Refreshments
  • Hot Dogs

  • An OUTDOOR BEEF ROAST, 12 to 2 p.m.

Family-friendly fun, food and a celebration of fall will combine to make for a perfect day at Neighbors on Saturday, so be sure to visit and bring your friends. And don’t forget to browse Neighbors’ great selection of fall flowers, plants, decor and more!

Neighbors is located at 38 S. Main St., Hellertown, Pa., just 1.75 miles south of I-78.

The store is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
