Saucon Source Little Panther Football Rundown (Brought to You by Saucon Valley Bikes)
The Saucon Valley youth coaches have again volunteered to recognize the efforts of some boys and girls participating on their teams. This recognition is a fun and special way for the coaches to show their appreciation and gratitude for the hard work and dedication the boys and girls invest in the football and cheer programs. Saucon Source is proud to be partnering with the youth coaches and sharing these accomplishments with you.

Saturday was Week 8 for Saucon Valley youth football and cheerleading. This week the Flags were off, but the rest of the Saucon Valley Little Panthers welcomed the Palisades Pirates to Dimmick Park for their home finale.

SV youth football offers “Panther Pride” awards, while cheering will choose girls for “Panther Spirit” awards.

THIS WEEK THE SPOTLIGHT SHINES ON…
90 POUNDERS (0-8)
- Panther Pride: Coach Hill recognized the whole team for NEVER GIVING UP!

- Panther Spirit: Samantha Lanning, Peighton Trexler, Maddison Huhn and Alainah Kaufman

110 POUNDERS (7-1)
Game Summary: It was another convincing performance by the Saucon Valley 110’s. Constantine Donahue had a couple of touchdowns and the Panther defense smothered the Pirates. In addition, Carter Beller and Eli Torres scored their very first touchdowns of the season! The 110’s won 29-0. Great job guys!

130 POUNDERS (3-4)
Game Summary: The Panthers scored early and often and perhaps had their best outing as a team this season. Offense, defense and special teams all came together for a dominating performance. Even the reserves stepped up to play “Lights Out” Panther football as they were able to preserve the shutout! When all was said and done it was a fantastic 35-0 all-around victory for the 130’s.

Next, the Saucon Valley Little Panther Flag and 130 teams will play away at Southern Lehigh against the Northwestern Tigers. The games are scheduled for Saturday, Oct, 22. The Flags will kick off at 10 a.m. followed by the at 130’s at 11:30.
