New Saucon Valley Boys Head Soccer Coach Appointed

Saucon Valley officially welcomed Timothy Houghton as its new Boys Head Soccer Coach after he was approved to replace Mel Moyer at the school board meeting.

Saucon Valley officially welcomed Timothy Houghton as its new Boys Head Soccer Coach after he was approved to replace Mel Moyer at the school board meeting.

During the 2016-2017 year, Tim was the Head Coach for two division-winning Palisades Youth Association Girls teams as well the Boys MontCo Select U16 team in Limerick, Ireland.

Tim holds a National, Advanced National and Premier Diploma from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and multiple licenses from the United States Soccer Federation, Saucon Valley Athletic Director Bob Frey said.

“Tim is a graduate of Oxford University in England, where he earned a Master’s degree in English Literature and Modern History,” he added. “During his time at Oxford, Tim played soccer for St. Edmund Hall College. We welcome Tim to our Saucon Valley family and wish him and the team good luck in the 2017 soccer season.”
