Ex-Meals on Wheels Volunteer from L. Saucon Sentenced to Prison for Client Assaults

A former Meals on Wheels of Northampton County volunteer from Lower Saucon Township was sentenced to 5 to 23 months in prison and 10 years of probation after previously pleading no contest to charges he assaulted two women on the same day in February 2015.

A former Meals on Wheels of Northampton County volunteer from Lower Saucon Township was sentenced to 5 to 23 months in prison and 10 years of probation after previously pleading no contest to charges he assaulted two women on the same day in February 2015 and apologizing for his actions, WFMZ Channel 69 News reported Friday.

Mark Walker, 63, of Pleasant Drive, is a former nurse and marriage counselor who has medical problems, will not be required to register as a sexual offender, and may be eligible for house arrest if it is determined his complex medical needs cannot be met by prison medical staff, the report indicated.
