Panther Softball Panorama v. Pen Argyl

The Saucon Valley Panthers softball team defeated the Pen Argyl Green Knights yesterday by a score of 8-2. Junior pitcher Meghan Okken was on the mound for the Panthers and threw hard all day scattering six hits over seven innings. The Panther bats exploded for a 7 run second inning to secure the win.

The Saucon Valley Panthers softball team defeated the Pen Argyl Green Knights yesterday by a score of 8-2.  Junior pitcher Meghan Okken was on the mound for the Panthers and threw hard all day scattering six hits over seven innings.  The Panther bats exploded for a 7 run second inning to secure the win.  Nicole Barbera went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBIs for Saucon Valley.

UP NEXT:  Next week the Panthers are scheduled to play their final two games away.  Tuesday, 5/9 Saucon travels to Bethlehem Catholic.  Their finale will then be on Wednesday, 5/10 at Palisades.  Both games start at 4 p.m.
