Although retail shopping in Hellertown has become somewhat scarce in recent years, that trend appears to be changing.

Adorned Accessories Boutique will be located in the Shoppes at Hellertown shopping center on Main Street.

Late last year a store that specializes in candles, accessories, home decor and more opened in the 1000 block of Main Street, and later this month a men’s and women’s accessories boutique is expected to open in a long-vacant storefront in the Shoppes at Hellertown at the south end of town.

Adorned Accessories Boutique–which is currently based in Emmaus–will be located between New Star Chinese restaurant and DiMaio’s Family Ristorante & Pizzeria, in a space that last housed Warrior Arts martial arts academy.

According to the description posted on the About section of Adorned Accessories’ Facebook page, “We are an accessories boutique for men and women run by a mother-daughter duo in the Lehigh Valley, Pennsylvania!”

There is also a website for the business AdornedAccessories.com which offers more information about the owners on its About page.

The boutique’s business hours will be Thursday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., Friday 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Saturday 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday noon to 4 p.m., according to a Facebook post.

The store’s grand opening is scheduled for Thursday, June 22 at 11 a.m. and there is a Facebook event for the grand opening weekend.
