A Hellertown woman is facing theft and other charges after borough police say she turned herself in to authorities following an investigation into a burglary that occurred in the 1000 block of Main Street earlier this month.

In a news release issued Tuesday police said Emily R. Duh, 34, of the 1000 block of Main Street allegedly stole more than $2,000 and “several controlled substances” from a residence on the evening of June 2.

Duh is charged with theft, burglary, criminal trespass, receiving stolen property and possession of a controlled substance, police said.

Following an arraignment at District Court 03-2-04 in Lower Saucon Township she was released on $20,000 unsecured bail, they added.
