Richard C. Berkheimer Sr., 55, of Lower Saucon Township, formerly of Muncy, died Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg.
He was the husband of Laurie (Patterson) and father of Richard C. Jr. Richard was born in Sunbury on March 18, 1962 to Charles and Idona (Thomas) of Muncy. He was a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Richard worked as a graphic designer for Orasure Technologies, Bethlehem for 12 years until retirement. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church of Hellertown and the Fraternal Order of the Moose-Muncy Valley, and was a dedicated Boy Scout of America, where he achieved the rank of Eagle Scout. Richard was an avid hunter, fisherman and art enthusiast.
SURVIVORS
In addition to his wife of 30 years; son; siblings: Kenneth (Sherri) of Williamsport and Denise Cromley (Kevin) of Milton; nieces and nephews: Wesley, Haley, Josh, Michael, Wayne and Dale.
SERVICE
