The Saucon Valley Middle School football team opened their 2017 season with a scrimmage against the Bangor Slaters on Aug. 28 at Bangor.

The Panthers took on the Pen Argyl Green Knights in another away game Saturday, which they won, 38-0.

The middle school team’s first home game will be against Palmerton on Monday, Sept. 11 at 4:30 p.m.
