Lady Panther Soccer Panorama v. Palmerton

Yesterday the Saucon Valley high school girls’ soccer team defeated the Palmerton Blue Bombers by a 5-0 score.  Saucon was paced by junior Brooke Riefenstahl and her four goals.  Senior Mackenzie Dickey added another in the Panther victory.  Saucon Valley improved to a 3-1-2 overall record and remain unbeaten (2-0-2) in the Colonial League.

Yesterday the Saucon Valley High School girls’ soccer team defeated the Palmerton Blue Bombers by a 5-0 score.  Saucon was paced by junior Brooke Riefenstahl and her four goals.  Senior Mackenzie Dickey added another score in the Panther victory.

Rachel Starr, Sophia Riehl and Caroline Gilbert registered assists for the Panthers.  Starr and Riehl are freshman, Gilbert is a sophomore.

Saucon Valley improved to a 3-1-2 overall record and remain unbeaten (2-0-2) in the Colonial League.

Fans attending yesterday’s contest were treated to a special halftime show when the Saucon Valley U9 travel team took the field to strut their stuff and give spectators a taste of Saucon’s soccer future. It was a very festive atmosphere!

UP NEXT:  The Lady Panthers travel to Wilson for a Saturday morning showdown against the Warriors.  The varsity is scheduled to start at 10 a.m. with the JV to follow at 11:30.
