The retail space that formerly housed a vape and electronic cigarette store on Main Street in Hellertown is now available for rent. What do you think should go there?
Vapemeister, at 650 Main Street, opened in June 2015 and closed after an accident in April in which a flatbed truck careened across the sidewalk and into the front of the store.
No one was injured in the accident, but the glass-front of the store was damaged. It has since been repaired, with new windows and a door installed.
A “For Rent” sign posted in the front window instructs people interested in leasing the space to call 215-778-4070 and leave a message.
The building is located in the heart of the borough’s downtown, near the intersection of Main and Water streets and Hellertown Borough Hall.
Some of the businesses located nearby include Revere Flooring, Yeager’s Pharmacy, Bella’s Ristorante, Cafe Erica, Wells Fargo and Saucon Valley Dance Conservatory.
I think Hellertown could use a really good tailor/seamstress shop. People would come from all over it they knew about it. It seems to be a lost art, but there has to be someone out there who has the talent and could open a shop.
