7th Grader Sonia Lloyd
My name is Sonia Lloyd, and I am a 7th grader at Saucon Valley Middle School. Coming up on October 18th, our annual Middle School Book Fair starts. Every time I go to the book fair, it reminds me of this magical world full of amazing books, fun gadgets, inspirational posters, and the best clip-on and 3-D bookmarks of all times!
The room to the right of the middle school library on the second floor in room B203 is where the bookfair will be located. It is filled with so many unique and inspirational stories, multiple shelves packed with the best books just waiting to be read, and tables for bigger books and novels. The bookfair that takes place this year will be held on October 18th through October 26th. Students will have a day to browse the many books and cool school supplies they want to check out during the normal school hours of the book fair. So many kids wait for this day of the year because it’s like a holiday, but in October, when they get to buy what they have been wanting. All the kids come into the bookfair and explore what lies in the pages of the newest books.
When the day to purchase books arrives, please make sure that all checks have been made out to “SVMS”. The books that your child browses encourages your child to read more, and they also make great gifts for all ages. At the bookfair, there is always something for everyone.
