Panthers Crown Three, Advance Six in District XI Tourney (Brought to You by Spirk Brothers Inc.)

With his District XI championship victory, sophomore Dane Csencsits also clinched the team title.

Coach Shirk and his Saucon Valley high school wrestlers competed in the 2018 District XI championships over the weekend.  This was an individual event with the top five placewinners in each weight class earning medals and the top four advancing to the PIAA Regional tournament at Wilson West Lawn High School next weekend.  A good showing at Regionals will punch a Panther ticket to the 2018 PIAA State Wrestling Championships at the Giant Center in Hershey.

The Panthers put three wrestlers on top of the District XI podium and advanced three others.  It was another solid showing for Saucon Valley as their collective efforts also earned them another team title.
