Malcolm W. ‘Mick’ Riffert, 80, of Macungie, died Thursday, May 3, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Carol A. Riffert, who died March 1, 2017.

Malcolm W. “Mick” Riffert, 80, of Macungie, died Thursday, May 3, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was the husband of the late Carol A. Riffert, who died March 1, 2017. Mick was born in Easton on March 20, 1938 to the late George and Estelle (Albert) Riffert. He served our country faithfully in the U.S. Army during peacetime. Mick was self-employed, owning and operating for many years GOC Service and M.W. Riffert Paint Contractor. He most recently worked for Graham Security, Macungie, as a security officer. Mick was a member of First United Church of Christ, Easton.

Daughters: Melinda J. (David L.) Guffy, Alison J. (Robert Geoffrey) Brunner, all of Allentown; siblings: Marjorie (Frank) Sickle, Thomas (Karen) Bonstein, all of Easton; grandchildren: Rachel and David Guffy, Quincy Brunner.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, May 7, 2018 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 2 p.m. The interment will conclude services at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Springfield Township.
