Elizabeth M. ‘Betsy’ Kressler, of Hellertown, died Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of Robert R. Kressler.

Elizabeth M. “Betsy” Kressler, of Hellertown, died Sunday, June 3, 2018 at the VNA Hospice House of St. Luke’s, Lower Saucon Township. She was the wife of Robert R. Kressler. Elizabeth was born in Coudersport on June 9, 1941 to the late Warren and Marian (Sweet) Swingle. She was a 1962 graduate of St. Luke’s School of Nursing. Elizabeth was a Registered Nurse at St. Luke’s Hospital, Mary Ellen Convalescent Home and on private duty, and after 20 years of service at Cedarbrook-Fountain Hill Annex, she retired.

SURVIVORS

In addition to her loving husband of 54 years; children: Marcia B. (Allan) Bright of Gouldsboro, Robert R. Kressler Jr. of State College; brothers: William (Karen) Lewis of Gouldsboro, John (Inez) Lewis of Gouldsboro; sister-in-law: Ruth Swingle of Harleysville; 3 grandchildren.

SERVICE

Family and friends are invited to call from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown and from 10:30 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. The Friday morning calling hour will be followed by the service at 11 a.m. The interment will conclude services at Union Cemetery of Hellertown.
