John V. Horn, 65, of Palmer Township, formerly of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Hellertown, died Monday, June 11, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of Marylee (Regan) Horn.

John V. Horn, 65, of Palmer Township, formerly of Niagara Falls, N.Y., and Hellertown, died Monday, June 11, 2018 at his residence. He was the husband of Marylee (Regan) Horn. John was born in Niagara Falls, N.Y., on Dec. 17, 1952 to the late Oscar “Bill” and Gloria (Bunzer) Horn. John was a machine operator at the former James River, Milford, N.J., until 1998, and had also worked at St. Luke’s Hospital, Fountain Hill. He was an avid bowler and a member of the National Sokols, Bethlehem.

SURVIVORS:

In addition to his wife of 42 years; children: Jason J. (Laura J.) of Palmer Township, Janelle L. Horn (Jason Torres) of Palmer Township; siblings: William O. of Newark, Del., Susan M. Warner, Richard L. (Colette) all of Niagara Falls, N.Y., Mary Anne of Mesa, Ariz.; grandchildren: Ryan, Taylor, Aniston, Brayah.

SERVICE:

Family and friends are invited to call from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, June 15, 2018 at the Heintzelman Funeral Home Inc., 326 Main St., Hellertown. The calling hour will be followed by the service at 3 p.m. Online expressions of sympathy can be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. In honor of John’s life-long love of sports, please wear your favorite sports team apparel to the service (he liked Philadelphia teams).
